Let's talk a little about music today. First, I would be remiss if I did not mention the now late, great Jeff Healey who lost his life long battle with cancer last Sunday. What a player that guy was! His NYTimes obit is here.

Well, this is where my feet get wet. My very first blog. Away we go....
First, the name SubAtomic Homestead comes from a Geocities website I had in the 90's. It really had no content, but still managed to get thousands of hits. I assume it was the name.
Now, as far as purpose, my goal is to post links to cool things I have found on the web so that you can waste your time more efficiently.
We might as well get started. I read this cool story on Benjamin Franklin on the Smithsonian Magazine site.
